How Garment Remodelling Works

Every project begins with a garment review. We assess the construction, fabric condition, seam allowances, and the fit changes you want before discussing what is realistically possible. This keeps the process clear from the start and helps avoid assumptions about the final result.

If the piece can be redesigned, we move into concept review and scope the work with a custom quote. Supplementary materials are quoted separately when needed, and approval is required before additional work begins. That way, each stage stays aligned with the agreed design.

For pieces that deserve a new shape, not a replacement.

Linea Atelier remodells and upcycles garments with careful inspection, clear approval steps, and a finish that respects the original fabric.

Our work covers dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Where available, we match original thread and trims, but exact matches are only confirmed after inspection and material availability checks.

The turnaround is project-based and typically falls within a measured workshop timeline after approval. A deposit is required for redesign work, and the finished garment is reviewed again at collection so any final fit or finish adjustments can be handled with care.
